Increase Your Internet Speed by changing the DNS server IP
Are you unsatisfied from your ISP speed? and tested many softwares which claim that it increases your internet speed?
First of all let me correct you. There is no such software which increases your internet speed.
But you can increase your speed by changing the DNS Server's IP.
What is DNS?
DNS ( Domain Name System ) its like an Internet Phone/Contact Book.
What Does Changing the DNS Server's IP do?
Changing the DNS server's IP reduces load to the DNS server hence you get more speed.
But this change will be very effective to the people living in US and near by Countries. But still it also effects in many other countries to.
It will speed up your browsing experience.
And also willImprove your security.
You will get the results you expect with absolutely no redirection.
Some times you can even access some sites which are blocked or unable to load from your current ISP.
Why Does DNS Matters? (Answered Very Well By Google)
The DNS protocol is an important part of the web's infrastructure, serving as the Internet's phone book: every time you visit a website, your computer performs a DNS lookup. Complex pages often require multiple DNS lookups before they start loading, so your computer may be performing hundreds of lookups a day.
Till now only two DNS server's IP are Free to use. And they Are:
Google Public DNS:
Primary DNS : 8.8.8.8
Secondary DNS : 8.8.4.4
Open DNS:
Primary DNS : 208.67.222.222
Secondary DNS : 208.67.220.220
And Third will be your ISP's DNS IP.
You just have to try all the three DNS IP i.e Google Public DNS, Open DNS, and your ISP DNS and check which one is fast. If you get any better speed while browsing with Google or Open DNS then use it otherwise stick to your old DNS. Best Way is to make 3 profiles with all 3 DNS and keep switching+checking when ever you come online.
Does It works with Wireless Internet?
Yes It works.
How To Change DNS ?
This Depends on the kind of software your ISP using on your pc. Find the software and configure it. If it is using LAN i.e Ethernet Port then you can try following depending on which operating system you are using:

I am Living In India and I have tested all three DNS i.e Google Public DNS,Open DNS, and My ISP (Reliance Netconnect) and I found that among these Google Public DNS was very fast for Browsing (may be x2 faster than my ISP) and for Downloading My ISP was faster , So I just Keep Switching.
